When using the Merchandising tool and some products have been pinned in a category, will they retain their pinned position when the sortby is changed by a user?
In addition to the above, if a merchant has the default sort by of categories set to anything other than “Best Matches”, will the pinned products show as set up or does this feature only work with “Best Matches” only?

When a customer changes how products are sorted using the sortby filtering, it arranges them based on the chosen sorting criteria, and the pinned products won’t stay in their pinned position.
The pinned product feature works exclusively when you select “Best Matches” as the sorting option. If the merchant changes the default sortby of categories to something other than “Best Matches” the pinning will not working unleass the customer changes the sortby to “Best Matches”.
